How to summarize the past few years as a couple in just two paragraphs on our wedding website…

We’ve overlapped many times in our lives. Having both grown up in the Atlanta Catholic school scene, we had many mutual friends and were often in the same place at the same time. We met again in 2017, but the timing for us wasn’t right, so we went our separate ways for a few years.

COVID changed the trajectory of many people’s lives, and we were no exception. We began talking again in 2021, and soon after started dating. We’ve been inseparable ever since. From traveling to Chicago, Seattle, New York, DC, Denver, Kiawah, Nashville, Destin, etc. (you get the picture), to getting engaged in Mexico City, we share a love for good food, amazing cities, and good friends.

Being with Phillip has taught me (Bridget) many things. Most obviously, he’s taught me to be a better cook. But more subtly, he’s taught me patience. He’s taught me what it feels like to be fully known by another person. And he’s taught me the proper way to use a parking brake (more involved than you’d think).

We love our little life with our dog Hank, and we’re so excited to continue our story for the rest of our lives together.
